About the School
ECS Scotland is a small, independent, family-run English language school which specialises in 1:1 and small group courses of general and job-related English. We focus on developing the speaking and listening skills of our clients so that they can communicate effectively in English for their work, study or recreation. Courses start on any Monday and can last from 1 – 4 weeks (or more).
Our courses run from a quiet, professional office environment, which includes a library/self-access centre/relaxation area. The school is located in Edinburgh city centre and is very convenient for shops, banks, buses etc.
Tuition is either 1:1 or in small groups. The maximum number of students in a small group is 5. Courses consist of 20, 25 or 30 hours tuition per week and also include one afternoon excursion per week to a place of cultural/historic interest.
Personalised weekend closed group courses, for between four and ten students, are available on request. Please let us know your requirements and we will adapt a course for you.
